Loved this Ruth. I feel so much of what you feel and experience in writing. And yet you did / are doing it! Inspiring!

Oh friend I needed this today. Haven’t written a dang sentence all week, but I planted basil in the yard and I hosted a dinner party and I shot half a roll of film and I decorated our patio ... when I add all of that up, I’ve actually created quite a bit this week. Cheers to being an accidental farmer, I can’t wait to see what other metaphors arise from this 😜❤️

In making a life, you tell a story

SO GOOD Ruth. I loved every word of this. While I love some good garden metaphors that metaphor about working words into a dough that sticks, I feel that in my soul.

Here’s to creating slow friend! ❤️

Love this! I see so much creativity in your life from my vantage point! This is so good: “Sometimes, in making one thing, you learn how the other comes together.”
